Silk protein contains eighteen amino acids among which are glycine, alanine, serine and tyrosine which are of particular importance in skin care applications. Liquid silk protein is easily absorbed by the skin and adds silkiness to the skin while it conditions. It is used in the finest most luxurious applications of facial products.

• Shea Butter - This is derived from the nut of the Shea or Karite Tree, native to Africa. Not only is Shea Butter a superior moisturizer and emollient, it has remarkable anti-inflammatory and healing properties and has been used effectively in treating eczema and other skin rashes. It is rich in non saponified fats, including Keratin, Allantoin and Vitamin E which are essential for healthy skin.

• Goats Milk - This is added as a natural emollient that helps balance the skin’s natural pH and promotes exfoliation of dry skin.Goats milk is high in protein, triglycerides, Vitamin A, B6, B12 and E, making it an excellent natural moisturizer that helps hydrate and nourish skin. It also adds to the rich creamy texture of our soaps.

• Aloe Vera - A member of the lily family, this succulent-like plant is well- recognized for its ability to clean and soothe our skin. It contains antibiotic properties and promotes removal of dead skin cells and promotes natural growth of new cells. It contains numerous essential elements including most vitamins such as B12, minerals, enzymes, protein and amino acids…..making it an incredibly beneficial ingredient to skin products.

• Edelweiss Extract - The lovely, starry-petaled bloom known as Edelweiss, a high-altitude flower, in its natural habitat, the Alps, is exposed to strong UV radiation and extreme temperatures. As a result it has naturally formulated, through the evolutionary process, beneficial and protective properties for its own survival. The extract from this little white flower has properties which are extremely beneficial to our skin, namely strong natural UV ray blocking properties. In addition, this extract  is a formidable antioxidant that cleans up the free radicals produced by metabolism and by the many pollutants in the air.
